Super Sunday Downline Date

One of the things that amazes me is the people you have to support you when you are a Stampin' Up demonstrator. As you transition from a customer to a demonstrator you find a whole new respect for your demo-Upline. You acquire family and friends in every direction.  Eventually, when I was ready I gained three Downline myself.  It is like children with perks... Because you love them unconditionally and they teach you new ways to be a better you.  Most important;  I am becoming a better stamper everyday.  The challenge of taking care of yourself and building our Stampin' business is we all have our open paths and no matter how we travel we are always trying to get in the same path to grow and learn.

After an amazing Holiday Happiness Stamp Camp yesterday Beverlee hosted myself, Gail, Paula & Renee in her playroom and shared so much history, motivation and techniques.  Finding a few  opportunities to remind us that we can all do it our own way, we all have our strengths and you add a stamp set, some ink and Beverlee... The wheels started turning and we we really learning so much.
Thank you Beverlee, Renee, Paula & Gail for spending your day with me.  I can only grow spending time with you!

Here Beverlee was showing us the Star card she made from one of the single stamps available!  So beautiful! Technique tips and options for each of our styles were given.

A question was asked about how one of her cards was made... so Beverlee grabbed a stamp set and gave a mini lesson on two step stamping.  I learned s great way to make a simple and elegant card!

Paula, Renee and I watched intently as Beverlee shared how to use the brayer!

Love the Polymer clay... and the tips on how to make the colors, and share with our customers!

Beverlee,
You always make it look easy and you really are a doll! Thank you for your time and techniques!
See you soon!
Cary

One more item to post... terrible picture... but Renee knows the way to my heart!  My favorite dressing!  Thank You for refilling me!

Holiday Happiness

Good Morning,
Hello! We are ready for some crafting & creativity!

Here is Beverlee & Kim... these two are so talented and so friendly!

Beverlee and I share a love for Hydrangea's and God Bless Armstrong for being open late Friday so I was able to scoop these beauties up!

Here are my uplines... Beverlee & Karen ... so sweet and combined make us feel very loved!

Here is a little treat that I will give you a peek at but you will have to attend my upcoming class to learn how to make these sweet lil coffee cups!  Way to go Beverlee!  loved all your demo's!

See that box... the dress, and the card... (there is a box made from our new envelope maker too) that too has a debut at an upcoming class!

I caught these three hanging card samples up outside on a clothesline!  Such adorable cards!

Ok, if you know Beverlee than you know she has a keeper in Ken!  He always is there to support us, cheers us on, lets us invade his home, had fresh coffee and donuts for us too!

Here is our team of demonstrators for the Holiday Happiness Camp... Beverlee, Kim, Barbara, ME, Karen, Angie & Lorraine!

Lorraine and her retain to these cups was so cute... it will be downloaded on Beverlee's Blog!  Tune in for the link... stinkin' cute this girl!

See the candles... plain and then a little bit of glimmer paper, and some snowflakes and wa~la... beautiful!  Beverlee had many hidden treats hidden around her gorgeous home that will be CASE'd here soon! (join my team and get some privileged tours and secrets)

Angie... has an adorable Santa Card and a direct line to Santa's Elves.... so you better make your list and we will check it twice... not because you are naughty but because we are nice and want you to get the biggest bang for your bucks!

Barbara was a first time table demonstrator and she ROCKS!  She designed and prepped and shared her card today!  Very talented... and soon... she will show us how to use our polymer clay to make her hair bow... OMG!!! I thought it was a real flower!

Lorraine... what can I say about this chick?  She is an inspiration and a mentor.  She was the creator of the cards she and I co-hosted today!  She gets me, I mean really gets me... she knows how to make me feel better, make my cards look better and always with a smile... no matter what!

For my dear customers: Jeanne, Kathy Jo, Karen and Gretchen (ordered a kit) that attended today!  Thank you for your support of my amazing journey!  I love Stampin' Up and I am glad you do too!
I will post each of our projects, the creators, the recipe's and a few CASE's next week!  Because... I know you did not miss today because you did not want to be there but because life deals us many opportunities to live it to the fullest and I know I will see you soon to catch up and hear about your weekend!
Love ya,
Cary

Wonderful Wreath

Here is a card co-designed by Lorraine & Sarah.  When we played with this set a few weeks back we thought about how cute the Wonderful Wreath stamp is and wondered of it would fit a 3x3 card.  So on with the challenge for Sarah and Lorraine they spent a few minutes and whipped out a prototype of this card.  They used glimmer paper dots for the holly.  I tried using the Cherry Cobbler Candy Dots and the Pearls.  Such an adorable and elegant card. Working on a stack right now!

My CASE gone cold.

Here is a card I CASE'd that did not turn out the way I planned ... And still awaits the Stampin' Up Expressions  Framelits " Merry" sentiment.  It is on order as I waited to order it until my wish list is filled with multiple cards to CASE with them.

I wanted it to look different than the one I CASE'd and it really did turn out different.... But still very cute!  Cannot wait to make a snowman.

Hurry Up, my hunky UPS man... Or this project may go cold!

Sunday is a day for catching up

This morning I have been working on my card for stamp camp next Saturday. I tied 84 bows onto buttons, trimmed card stock into multiple layers and whilst I was happily in my stamp prep world I was interrupted by daughter number two.  "Do we have as hair appt. today?"  Oh my goodness we do.... So rushing to the at a race pace, we travel to the salon and our lovely Denise allows us to arrive 19 minutes late so that we can transform this lil cutie into a beauty!

Renee's Bunco

Last night I traveled to Renee's to play Stampin' Up Bunco.  We had a good time catching up and I was the winner of the most bunkets and that $20 went towards buying the Gift Bow Bigz L Die!!!  Why?? Because it is the most adorable accent that was ever invented for people like me that cannot make bows! I will be able to use this bow maker for every holiday gift I wrap, for cards, for accents on items in my home and for a little sewing project I have up my sleeves!! Renee helped us make this simple but elegant thank you cars:

Festive Friday

It's time to get ready for some fun and fancy holiday's!  I am already thinking about my food menu, table setting and my Christmas card photo.  Time is a wasting so we better play around with some holiday card CASE ideas.  Here are a few cards that I CASE'd this week:

Santa's List:

Here is a fun one I CASE'd using scraps!

Same idea above only I pulled the ribbon longer and tried to be neater with my paper placement.

Magnificent Maple:

I love maple leaves... Especially, when my kids pile them up and jump in them. I practiced the "Thumping Technique" and played around with my ribbon and buttons.  I overdid my cherry cobbler in the thumping portion, "Cup's" was playing and well I got into the rhythm. I just love Anna Kendrick!

I captured a better angle on this CASE. I liked this one th best... But my thumping was minimal... What can I say it was a slow song!!

While they look close... I have slight differences while I play around and decide on the cards I will use for my next card class.  Any tips or suggestion's?  I will take them!

Happy Birthday Mackenzie!

Today my oldest child is 19.  I am blessed to have her in my life and enjoy all the gifts she brings to be and our family.  Every year we see our children grow into more mature individuals that resemble us, yet they are still very different.  Mackenzie has strength, beauty, curiosity and a thirst for knowledge beyond measure.  She inspires me to be a better person daily, and makes me laugh like no one else!

Her birthday card was inspired from a CASE I found while blog hopping.  Hope you find it inspiring and you too are inspired to bust out your Flower Shop Bundle, your new InColors, and a little bling!,

She loves her Elmo right now!
