Get Well Soon

I have a few cards to prep for Mia's home show on Friday. She picked a technique I have not done before. Triple Layer, Embossed Cards.  Since it is a show with multiple vendors... I chose this as a full complete card so that I can spend more time with everyone!

Mia and I found the idea for this card on Pinterest... at a lovely blog called Stampin Sunshine.
I will briefly review the steps of how to make this card:

First you need to cut your Triple Layers.  So I chose Very Vanilla.
Cut a 2" x 3 1/4th" piece, a 3" x 4 1/4th" piece, and a 5 1/4th" x 4" piece.
Use SNAIL and stick them together.

Then use your Versamark and White Embossing Powder to Stamp the sentiment "Get Well Soon" from the Delightful Dozen Stamp set, and the flowers from the Secret Garden Stamp set.
Heat with your Embossing Tool.
Then stamp the flowers randomly in Gumball Green, Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple.
Separate these pieces and then mount onto Crumb Cake.
(2 1/4th" x 3 1/2", 3 1/4th" x 4 1/12", & 4 1/4" x 5 1/2")
Pay attention as lining up the designs can be silly especially when you put a piece upside down!
Then take a Stampin' Sponge and rub Crumb Cake ink all around your edges, and over the embossed parts..... in the end it looks great!
Thanks for the challenge Mia... 14 down... another project to go!

Kids Camp Session #1

Welcome back from Korea to my Dear Little Girls!
These young ladies are ready for Kids Camp and Stamping!
I pulled out all my scraps and away they went!
Creative and Inspiring!

Julia and Christine got busy adding details to their 4x4 mini scrap books.
I put out many colors of ink, punches, and textures for them to use.
I even had left over Polka Dots and the girls made them into some exciting pages too!

This is Angelina, it is her first time attending a class at my house,
but her creativity with the Three Flower Punch... dimensional flowers!!
So smart... I am CASEing that from her!

Here is our youngest Stamper Eunice!
She may be young but she has an eye for detail!
I see a very creative career for her in the future!

Julia and Christine liked using the Yippee Skippee Stamp Set!
Silly phrases like "I Freakin' Love You!"
Probably, not what sweet young ladies say but funny all the same!

I was thrilled to hear Julia Tell me all about Speech and Debate Camp...
The excitement and the tone of her voice ...
gave me chills!
She is very wise for her age!

I explained the rules at the beginning about how to clean the stamps and I do not think I have ever seen them so clean!
Seriously, these kids have such love and respect for my Stampin' supplies!
Makes me tear up!

Project Number two was a "Wise Owl".
I CASE'd this off of Pinterest... sadly the original pinner did not attach the source.
I can tell you Stampin' Up has all the tools.
The Top Note Big Shot Die, the various sizes of circle punches, and the adorable treat bags!
Now this 'Wise Owl' loves chocolate...
so I had them use a roll of ROLO candy for their treats...
it was a little warm in here...
so they all voted that they will go into the freezer when they get home.

Another Camp tip, I use glue sticks...
I have owned mine for the past 6 years... and I use them a lot.
Sadly, there was only a teeny bit left.
A great bargain for the price.
I have more Stampin' Up ones on order so a trip to Target hooked me up at the last minute.

Eunice and her 'Wise Owl'.

Angelina and her 'Wise Owl'.

Julia and her 'Wise Owl'.
Christine and her 'Wise Owl'.

Now Eunice was very creative with Project #3... we made calendar covers.
I tried to educate the girls on entering their 'High's & Low's'.
My family shares these during dinner.
I think it could be very cathartic if I journal mine!

Group photo, of their new journals, and smiles!  Beautiful Friends!

Now, I must thank Minyoung, she brought me back this cream from Korea!
Not going to share this!
I may CASE it!
I cannot wait to see them next week to finish up the scrap books and start them on a couple new projects!

Are You Up to a Challenge?

Stampin' Up has created a way for you to help them design and choose new stamp sets--In with You (beta program). Their artists have no shortage of stamp set ideas, but this contest gives them a chance to innovate with our customers in a social media setting--and get their perspective and endorsement before the set is available. The In with You program is currently open to anyone (demonstrators, customers, etc.) in the United States and Canada, including District of Columbia, APO/FPO, and Puerto Rico, but not Qu├ębec. So spread the word!

Once you join our In with You online community, you can submit your original artwork for stamp set challenges, vote and comment on other people's submissions, earn badges, and interact with others in the community. Stampin' Up will produce and sell one or more stamp sets from among the top-voted submissions in each challenge. Plus there are fabulous prizes for top designs.
