Blooming Bouquet

Mother's Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There's no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.
As if that weren't enough, the kit contains a "baker's dozen"! This means you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone new! Give it to someone you wouldn't normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you'd like to give a little "thank you" to-and introduce them to Stampin' Up!

Ladies Night Out

We mummy's need nights/afternoons off to rejuvenate our system and hang with other inspiring women to give our families and our coworkers the best. Today I traveled to Manteca where my girlfriend Marie hosted a networking day for us home based business mommies to show off our talents. Life kept a few vendors from attending but those that were there shinned brightly!
I was excited to see my one of my best customers Mia there right on time and she brought a friend Jamila that happened to sell Thirty-One bags and was able to fill that empty spot. They stayed til we closed down shop! Thank you!

Here is the Make n Take for the ladies from me... they also were able to shop from my card stash and choose a few cards from there too! I used the Happy Hour Stamp Set, my Stampin' Up markers and Hound's-tooth Embossing Folder.

THESE cake pops were the bomb!  I bought them as RSVP gifts!  She hand makes all her chocolates! Email me if you want her info!

Mia ordered two specialty cakes from Carol today for Zachary's 8th grade graduation! She designed both!

Here were the samples from Carol!  Oh boy were they good!

Not the best photo of Maries neighbor... but a cute one of Jamila... our stand up Thirty-One Consultant... whom stepped in for another friend that could not attend.

Marie used to sell Cookie Lee... and she has tons of sample's.... she sold it all at 50% off today!

You know me.. I am not a jewelry girl... but I bought these two necklaces... now I need somewhere to wear them!! I know.. I will start wearing them to my stamp shows... and to CONVENTION!!!

We played a few games... first the ladies had to pick a piece of gum... so pick a flavor in your mind and stick it in your mouth... now... her is what your gum say's about you:

What kind of gum are you?

If you picked: Cinnamon Flavored Gum

You are daring, active, and a little outrageous.

You crave adventure and novelty. You like to mix things up.

Your personality is extra spicy and larger than life.

You love to have fun, and you are passionate about everything you do.

You're definitely a fiery person, and you don't back down from a fight.

Most people love your fire - but you can be a bit too intense at times!

If you picked:  Peppermint Flavored Gum

You have a sharp mind that is always churning.

You are mentally hyper. You're always thinking of something.

And while your mind is always on, you're not the most physically active person around.

Some people make mistake you for being lazy, but the truth is: you never relax.

You tend to get so deeply into your projects that you ignore everything around you.

You are creative and cutting edge. You love telling people about your newest ideas and discoveries.

If you picked: Fruit Flavored Gum

You are quirky and independent. You don't tend to follow any one style or rule book.

You are a mix and match type of person, and you draw inspiration from many sources.

While you're definitely a bit unusual, you get along well with other people.

You're eager to welcome anyone into your world. You are not judgmental at all.

You form close bonds with your friends, and your relationships tend to be very secure.

You hold firm to your beliefs and values, and you don't let anyone talk you into compromising them.

If you picked:  Spearmint Flavored Gum

You are a mystery to most people, even your friends.

Cool and a bit aloof, you tend to be a bit removed from the world.

And while you keep to yourself, you're no shrinking violet.

You have a strong personality, and you'll speak your mind when the time is right.

You are competent in all aspects of life. You're attractive, successful, and charming.

Many people want to be your friend, but you consider few people to be your true friends.

If you picked: Bubblegum Flavored Gum

You are friendly, outgoing, and energetic.

You love life, and you can always find some reason to smile.

You are a bit hyper, and you're always looking for your next challenge.

You love getting things done - and you are usually on the go.

Your confidence and positive attitude makes you a very attractive person.

You can be a little flaky at times, but people are able to overlook that - because you're so fun!

Can you guess what flavor of gum I chew? Respond to the post and see what I do!

Christine's Birthday Party

Today I was blessed to host my friend Minyoung's daughter Christine plus six creative girls in my home. It was so fun making three cards and then sharing a light snack before they were off to stage two of the party!
Christine is in Matthew's class at school. She is very talented and a beautiful friend!

Last month I offered up a party for 6 girls or 6 ladies to come to my home and make three projects for our Disney Education Fund.  Minyoung was the highest bidder.  I was so glad to support the school and make Christine and her girl friends happy!

See my new hutch in the background... I keep moving stuff around.. there is so much room!
This card utilizes some retired DSP and some Glitter Paper I found at Big Lots.. Christine wanted a butterfly party and we had fun using pearls and rhinestones to glamor the card up!

What girl does not like Hello Kitty?  I still do! The Oh HELLO stamp set was a perfect way to play with this card... I love how they each made the face their own!

Their favorite card was the Swallowtail Card... where we practiced "Thumping"... I came across a video on You Tube and watched a woman "thumping" I fell in love with the technique and have been CASEing this card for every occasion! I learned to thump from HERE

The girls at work... rather neat for ten year olds don't you think?

The birthday girl!  Love her!  She was so excited and creative.. she enjoyed "thumping" but said "It is not symmetrical!" Very true... but their cards were adorable!

This little sweetie pie was excited to use dimensional's... here is s future scrapper.

I was so proud of my first little "thumper" Julia was my tester, she had to make them all first!

Check out my Big Helper Mackenzie & Puri, Mackenzie worked the opposite side of the table teaching the girls how to use their adhesive, and stamp without making out lines... she should do this for a living!

Thinking this girl is a perfect stamper... her creativity and perfection were great combos!

Loren, was at the end of the line... she was able to watch all the other girls create, make mistakes and then turn her cards into masterpieces... yet another small glimpse of my new hutch!  Love it!
Rachel is a little sweet pea also had a creative and artistic view!
I am so proud of all you girls and hope you enjoyed your birthday party!

Sunday Sideline Stampin at Marie's

This past Sunday I went to Marie's house to stamp and celebrate friendship with Lorraine, Sarah. Marie made a delicious lunch, and Lorraine ordered a cake to celebrate Sarah's birthday. We exchanged tips, ideas, techniques and cards. I look froward to our next date!

That's Marie... The silly goose did not want me to take her picture.  Her card is made with the All Dressed Up stamp set and framelits.  She used retired Concord Crush ink, cardstock, and some wired ribbon to create the cute card pictured above. I made a copy and will share my current product CASE soon!

This Party Favor was designed by Lorraine... she CASE'd it and I was happy to CASE from her too!

My Card...

Busy CASE'ing each other's cards and trying to improve on the styles!

Thought I would spend some time with my This & That... love it!

It was Sarah's birthday.. and Lorraine ordered a cake and we all made cards for her!

Hope Sarah is wishing for Stamps and more play dates!!

Sarah's card that she CASE's out of Stampin' Up's Stampin Success magazine!
