Sweetie Pie Photopolymer Stamp Set

Here is a card I created using the Sweetie Pie Photopolymer Stamp Set, and I used the Sweetie Pie Frames Stamp Set too!  I made this card with Katie last week for her 18th birthday and will be recreating it today at Jeanne's gathering in different colors.  I really love working with the photopolymer stamps, they are easy to see, easy to layer and easy to store!
I really love this stamp set... It's feminine and cute.  I am looking forward to stamping with Jeanne today! I get so much inspiration from those ladies!

Hope you have a wonderful Saturday!

Simply Sarah CASE

Have I shared how talented my girl Sarah is?
She never makes a card I do not gush over.
She has a sense of style and color that makes every card perfect!

Here is the CASE I made from Sarah at our Imprints Party:
This card is made from the NEW Work of Art Stamp Set..
I used 2013/2014 In Colors...
Coastal Cabana,
Strawberry Slush,
Pistachio Pudding,
& Crisp Cantaloupe.
Do you see the new Itty Bitty Accent Punch... Slightly larger than the older set.
As always, a sliver of Silver Glimmer Paper adds a distinct touch of bling.

We made these at Katie's 18th Birthday party...
Simple and elegant!
 Have a great day!

May 2014 My Paper Pumpkin Kit

Wow, I have to say this kit is masculine and simple. Happy Father's Day and Happy Birthday rolled into a box set perfect for your Dad, Bro or Son.
Here are my samples:
I made four full sized cards ...
Two 3x3 cards!
So much fun!

I really enjoy my monthly party in a box... the feeling you get when you see that bright orange box in your mailbox, breaking the seal, gently I tear the tissue paper and unwrap the new project and all the directions and supplies needed to complete the project are all included.  I just grab my SNAIL and get to work.  My Paper Pumpkin kits have traveled with me to work, meetings and jury duty.  I am never disappointed and always find a person to gift with my talents... AKA... Stampin' Up's tools to make me look good!

Enjoy your day, I am off to play!

Happy 18th Birthday Katie!

Happy Birthday to Katie!
She officially turns 18 today!
Last night she and her amazing friends.
spent some time stamping and making beautiful cards together!
Katie is the oldest of four children,
the first to leave the nest soon...
off to
Cal Poly!
She is smart, beautiful, sweet,
kind and a great inspiration for her family and friends!
I really loved meeting her and seeing how creative she is!

Now... the cake was delish...
Coldstone ice cream... with cookie dough on top...
what a way
to say goodbye to childhood
Her birthday gifts were:
dorm room decor, bedding, Cal Poly gear, some cash, and loads of giftcards to SEPHORA!
The girl like her makeup...
a natural beauty,
with the gift of style!
Katie is a Cal High Grizzlie... so we made a few graduation cards!

(i forgot to take pictures of her favors... see the glimpse...
the new Ghiradelli mini's...

We stuffed altered coffee cups with coffee candies...
Hailey, is Katies younger 14 year old sister...
you know you raised a good kid when she allows her
siblings to be around!
Even her 10 & 5 year old brothers
received loads of love
and attention...
Katie's mother raised her right!
Grandma Sue, jumped in and really went with the inspiration...
she made every project her own...
I hear she make beautiful cakes...
must take some lessons from her!

So the treat bags were filled with all the supplies to make 5 projects,
a graduation trat bag with Ghiradelli chocolate,
ring pops, and a pedicure kit!
Each girl also took home a catalog..
they want to play again soon!
Oh, and they had Guiseppes for dinner!
Love that place!

Although, I provided samples
and was there for assistance,
these girls jumped in...
and started stamping right away!
All were creative
lets just say
the girls liked the

Here are four of the girls cards...
very cute!

loving how they decorated their cups...
hope they like the coffee caramels as much as we do!

Check out some of Katies's finished products!
She and I loved the Sweetie Pie Stamp set...
the girl with the berret is sassy!
Just like Katie...
sassy, sweet, and loves her BLING!

Cindy is the girl that made all the projects her own!
Each card was a beautiful work of Art!

Here is a picture of each girl holding up one of each of the 5 projects we made!
The girls had positive attitudes,
looked forward to graduation,
talked about college,
talked about how long they have known each other,
helped each other complete and accent each project,
and reminded me that
they are smart, responsible and reliable!
I hope to be able to share more photos soon!
Happy Birthday Katie!
Thank you for letting me share your day!
Turning 18 opens many doors and brings some responsibility!
You my dear will be ok!
Your parents raised you right,
you are putting your education first,
you will make a difference!
Enjoy your day!

Precious Baby Card

You all know I love babies! I love the way they smell, sound, feel and look. I also love rubber duckies... And you are never too old to like, collect, or have one. If you head into my guest bath, you will find one or too in my bath tub... Ernie was the one that tought me how fun they are and I never take a bath without one!

This card was designed by Karen Flores:
She used the new Baby Bundle available in the NEW Annual Catalog called Something for Baby.
Yes, those lil duckies are cut out using the coordinating framelits.

Tune in for more ideas using the bundle and inspiring ideas by Karen for me to CASE!

You Make Me Happy

Here is another CASE from last Sunday's Imprint Party:
This was fun to play with and make into our very own team CASE.
You are going to La La Love all the NEW Hostess sets...
These lil birdies came from the Hello Love Hostess Stamp Set.

How can you earn those unique and rare stamp sets? Host a party, workshop, stamp a stack, card buffet, BUNCO, or an online party.  A party that has sales over $150 earns $25 to spend towards any item in the catalog... But has exclusive rights to the special stamp sets created for Hostesses only!

Remember my offer for all hostesses that book a party by July 31... FREE Designer Series Paper... Your choice!

Let's make each other happy...
Call me, text me, email me TODAY!

Margaret is a Stampin' Sister that used a combination of new product to make this card...
Margret used a NEW Hostess set called Let Your Hair Down for the sentiment, and the NEW Traveler Stamp Set to get masculine... The Hello Honey  is shown off with Mossy Meadow.

I can't wait to change it up and CASE it to make it my own.

There are many ways to combine both sets... I am off to play... And do it my way!

Happy Homemaker Monday May 19, 2014

As I look outside my window:
A combination of Fog and Clouds linger, keeping the blue sky at bay.  Its going to be a cooler day today but I will get out there to play!

Right now I am:
Typing this up really quick before Kylie arrives, enjoying a mug of Earl Grey and thinking this is the way a Monday morning should be.. and not how mine started with an angry cat pouncing on the hub's and I as we slept this am.  He was really hungry I guess because those sneaky light paws, felt like a horse on my chest... hard and deliberate!

Thinking and pondering:
I had the most inspiring weekend filled with my time with my CFWC sister's & my Imprint Sisters!!
I have so many ideas, I am making a brainstorm list to grow with the love and support of my girlfriends!
On my bedside table:
My Bible
A Yo Yo
A basket filled with hairbands
A 143 note from the Hubby!

On my tv tonight:
Independent Lens... on KQED.

Listening to:
My dishwasher.  I think it is cheering a sad little cheer of "ho hum, Ho, Hum, there is way to much house work to be done".

On the menu for this week:
Monday - Banana Bread, and Eggplant Parmesean
Tuesday - Mountain Mikes... 1/2 off pizza night
Wednesday - Tuna Casserole (channeling my Grandpa Dauber's recipe)
Thursday - leftover's (I have a stamping birthday party and will not be home)
Friday - Stir Fry
Saturday - Baked Spaghetti
Sunday -  BBQ hot dogs, potato and macaroni salad

On my to do list:
Laundry, somehow there has been no detergent, while I was away.. the laundry was not done!
Stamp, Stamp, Stamp... prepartations for my 18th Birthday party on Thursday and my Open House on Sunday!
Go to the store (laundry detergent and milk are lacking here... seriously, I think we could put a cow dowm with the amount of milk that is consumed here)
Keep cleaning out my craft stash
Homework.... only a few more weeks to go!

Happening this week:
Monday - Kylie here, Party prep
Tuesday - Kylie, Ellie & Lily here, Roking Tots, & Party Prep
Wednesday - Kylie here, Back to School Night, and Birhtday Party finishing touches.
Thursday -  Facilities Inventory, Orthodontist appt, Riding Lessons, Stamping Birthday Party
Friday -Ellie & Lily here???

What I am creating:
A huge stampin' stack with the new Work of Art stamp set...

My simple pleasure:
Walking the dogs, wathing the puppy (yes, she is 80lbs now.. run and roll on the golf course)
Smelling the flowers with my three little charges... and the visits to the tickle bush!

Homemaking tips:
Make more than a few loaves of bread at a time, freeze the spares, and gift a random neighnbor or friend! Today it is Banana Bread, I freeze my ripe bananas and then defrost them and they are perfect consistancy to make a yummy bread!

Looking around the house:::
It's very clean, there are a few piles of clutter and the cat wats like a pig, but it looks clean from here.  I need to water plants today!
From the camera:::
My little Kylie Rose helped me unpack my suitcase.

A hat we wore when recognizing all that Valerie Barnes has done for Habitat for Humanity!

Prayer List:::
My mother has been ill, my friends that are battling cancer, my children need your extra prayers today, last but not least for the poor girls in Nigeria that need to be returned home!

Bible verse, Devotional:::
For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
 Romans 8:2

Imprint's New Catty Card Creation Day Results

Yesterday, there was so much laughter, fun, and stamping going on in Beverlee's workshop.
Our energy and excitement over the new products was so intoxicating
a few of us may have been impaired enough to linger and complete just a few more cards.
The room was not lacking in talent, inspiration or original ideas for me to CASE for your enjoyment.

Here is a Beverlee original:

I will play with it more today... She used the NEW Lost Lagoon In Color, the NEW Traveler Stamp Set and the Postage Due Stamp cannot tell the detailing this photo... But we also stamped onto a doily, and used the Simply Scored Tool to add lines at the bottom of the card.  A simple elegant card that made me see the Traveler set in a feminine light... As I only saw it masculine.  You can always count on Beverlee to have a new perspective on many things... Follow Beverlee HERE to see her charming journey.

I will highlight a few more goodies I stamped through the week...
Let's just say I am excited to share this NEW catalog with YOU!
If you want to join me this weekend for my Open House on Sunday
to create your very own Work of Art Pile... hint! Hint! Hint!
RSVP to me so I can reserve your spot at my stamping table
and poolside as the hubby's promises to BBQ some good food for us
to enjoy this Memorial Weekend.

Hope to see you,

Saturday, May 17, 2014

Three things to share today:
  1. I love the Hip Notes Stamp Set.
  2. I cannot wait for you to see all the goodies inside the New 2014/2015 Annual Catalog!
  3. This NEW stamp set "Traveler" available for you on June 2... is so cute!

The Hip Notes Stamp Set is going to carryover from the Occasions Mini to the New Annual Catalog:
Hip Notes 133504
Price: $11.95

I am thrilled with all the carryover, and how it can all work together. It makes me feel like the investment I make into my Stampin' Up products and the time invested is well worth my hard earned money! Many stamp sets blend together with little effort... and if you use your imagination there are more than that!
Here is a SNEAK PEEK:
It is a card that uses a NEW stamp set available on June 2!

Here is another Sneak Peek:
Want to see more? Tune in this next week for more sneak peeks!
I'm off to celebrate the new CFWC President!
