A Quick Thank You

Can we ever thank people enough for all they do for us?
Big things, little things, and things we never knew we needed.
I recently had someone tell me they appreciated me...
The words went in my ears like a favorite song...
And stick around whenever that person comes to mind!
I really believe that when you have a chance to let someone know how much they mean...
you should say it.
Life is so short!
So my favorite card of all to create is a Thank You!
I really am thankful for you my customers that share your lives, friends, and families with me.

Here is a sample of a card I whipped up really quick with a Stampin' Up Notecard:
I used the Mosaic Madness Stamp Set..
I CASE'd the card from HERE!
This particular card was a pre made card I gave out at Sarah's party last week....
I was thankful they chose me to spend the day with on her special day.
There are many others out there that do what I do but they chose me and I am forever grateful!

Supplies used to make this Thank You card were:
Stampin' Up Notecards, Whisper White Cardstock, Mosaic Madness Stamp Set, Mosaic Punch, Island Indigo Baker's Twine, Rhinestones, Island Indigo Stampin' Pad, Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Pad, Daffodil Delight Stampin' Pad, and Strawberry Slush Stampin' Pad.

Happy Monday!

We had a GREAT TIME!

So I was so excited when I came home last night!
After getting to hang out with lovely young women and seeing them get creative is inspiring!
Sarah had a wonderful birthday as did her friends.
Her parents made a delightful buffet of finger foods, and fancy desserts.
The smell was delightful, and welcoming!
The women all created great cards!
Cynthia created this CASE of my CASE from page 121 in the Annual Catalog.
Love it!

This beautiful young mommy had relief from a bestie...
while she created her card, her little angel Harper was getting a lil mommy milk!
Cynthia took this little guy for a while so his mommy could create and complete a card!
He had a very delicious laugh!
The birthday girl Sarah!
She does not look 30...
She and her friends had a wonderful time CASEing my cards!
Love how she was so happy with the completion of this card...
I was worried it would not be an easy one, but with a little help from the ladies,
and a few pre-made polymer clay flowers and buttons it went smoothly!
Check this out:
This girl loved her bling!
I wish I could show you her completed projects...
I loved how she owned her mistakes...
added bling...
and made every handmade card unique and beautiful just as she is!
So these ladies were wonderful friends helping each other out and while they were all beginners at card making, they all created beautiful work!
All the cards were inspired from four items:
Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper,
the Mosaic Madness Stamp Set,
the Beautifully Baroque Bundle,
and the Polymer Clay Molds.
Sarah really liked all the above items so I tried to use each one in creating her special projects!
This young mommy was inspirational...
there is something to be said about a good mommy!
She was encouraging and supportive to the new mommies in the room!
I will not lie...
there are some that say kids are not welcome.
I love kids!!!
But I believe the babies added to our comfortable group
and you all know me...
I am a baby lover!
Sadly, I did not get any time myself to snuggle,
never fear...
I did stop and smell their intoxicating heads!
Before the ladies arrived
I carefully laid out multiple items for a
Scavenger Hunt!
Slyly, I let my bags peek out from under my table,
and slipped product all over every bare spot in the room!
Time slipped by so my plans for my scavenger hunt were cut to a quick 30 seconds...
Everyone was a winner...
they collected a FREE premade card from my boxes above.
I reminded them all that Stampin' is not supposed to be stressful,
that they were all gifted and creative!
I was very proud of my 'CELEBRATE' banner!
They loved it too...
and it can be used again and again!
Each person received a premade Thank You card from me,
and all the supplies needed to complete our three cards!
Check out their favors... I told you they were cute!
After all was celebrated and created I am happy to say:
That Sarah had a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
She is blessed with a wonderful family and friends that all wished her the very best!

Happy 30th Birthday Sarah!

Today I'd like to give the biggest happy birthday wish to the birthday girl! While I have to admit I have never met her... I know her mother that loves and adores her so so much!

I hope Sarah likes the three cards we will be making and enjoys the scavenger hunt game her mother and I are looking forward to playing!

Tune in tomorrow for details from her amazing day!

Enjoy the much needed rain!

A Quick CELEBRATE Birthday Banner

Cynthia really wants a banner that says CELEBRATE...
So I took a piece of the Quatrefancy Designer Series Paper,
some cardstock and grabbed my  Perfect Pennants Builder Die for my big shot.
An hour later here was my answer to her last minute request.
I would have been done sooner but I took a lunch break!
Want to mess around with your Stampin' tools to make a banner?
Bring your supplies and drop in on my Open House or let's set a play date to mess around!
I made mine out of scraps...
Can you imagine if I had spent more time?
Hope you all have a great Friday!
Love Ya!

A Creative CASE

I love to watch videos from different Stampin' Up Demonstrators from around the world.
I would love to admit that when I CASE cards it's off of skill alone.
It is not...
Sometimes it's the accent! Stampin' Up has Demo's for all over the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, & Europe.
So if you Google a product, and the link happens to be a video...
Beware you may fall in love with the voice of the demonstrator.
I am guilty of stalking a few ladies.
I recently came across this image on Google:
The center card resembled a request for cards using the Beautifully Baroque Stamp Bundle that my friends Cynthia wanted for Sarah's birthday party.
So, taking one for the team... I watched this video over and over because
#1 Lisa Brown has that southern accent you can't stop listening too.
#2 She gave a tip that I first said oh heck no...
Then I thought about the logic and decided I would try it and it works!
What is that tip?
You will have to look HERE to find it!
I cannot be the only person that finds her voice intoxicating.
We West Coast Girls are at a disadvantage,
we are so excited to hear your voices that we forget to listen to our own. I am thankful for Google and the power of searching by stamp sets.
It helped me come up with multiple samples.
I am off to complete a few more!
Here are my CASE's of the above card:
The picture quality is a little off.. putting my light box together today.
Note the big white button... Sarah really wants to play with the Polymer clay molds and especially the buttons. So I offered either one as an embellishment for the card.
Supplies used to make this CASE were:
Whisper White Cardstock, Island Indigo Cardstock, Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, Beautifully Baroque Stamp (It comes as a bundle and you can save 15%) Island Indigo Stampin' Pad, Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon, Deco Label Framlits, Island Indigo Baker's Twine, Island Indigo Stampin' Write Marker (I used to color the polymer clay flower) Polymer Clay Molds, Polymer Clay and Glue Dots.

Have a great day,

Sarah's 30th Birthday Party Favors

This Saturday I will be traveling to Ripon to celebrate my friend Cynthia's daughters 30th birthday!
We are super excited to spoil her for the day. Sarah picked Quatrefancy Designer Series Paper as her color scheme and her mother and I have been creating items from there!

First items completed were party favors:
I CASE'd the SEE's Candy Lollipop from a gift I received from Lorraine last fall.
I CASE'd the Altered Coffee Cup from a project I did with Beverlee and my downline last September.

I have a few more items up my tune in tomorrow!

Would you like to have a Stampin' Birthday Party?
You pick the stamp sets, paper colors, and the amount of people you want to invite and I will custom design a party just for you!

Have a great day!

My Play Date at the Murchie's

I really enjoy when my friends and customers share what they have been working on. So when Jeanne started posting pictures of her new background color technique I had to learn how she did it. I also was wanting to feel more comfortable using my heat tool for embossing. When I arrived Jeanne had precut our paper, laid out the tools and encouraged me to dig in! I was very excited to use my Trefoil Cross Stamp and she showed me secrets on how to make it pop!
When I first arrived Jim was in the garage, and to my delight it was in my honor... Look what he made me:
His handy wooden stand held the heat/emboss gun still so I could quickly emboss without warping the paper as I had been in the past. Thank you so much!

Here are a few of Jeanne's cards:

Here are mine:

If you would like to learn more about this technique or want a special play date to share your skills with me, or for us to play together give me a call! I would love to help you learn, enjoy, and use all your stamping products... I love to see and share your talents!

Life Doesn't Have To Be Perfect

So my kids had Friday off from school... Which meant three sets of idle hands ( technically five, I babysat Max & KK came over for the day).  We started at Johnny's Donuts... Then headed to Cafe Art to make gifts for parents. Had lunch at the Copper Skillet and home for a nap... For Max that is.
The girls wanted to make cards and they picked this CASE off of a pin on Pinterest... They found it via Google but the pin dead ends.. No link to a blog. My apologies so if this is your original... Send me your link and I will divert traffic!

The card the girls made while Max napped was:
Supplies to make their card are:
Pistachio Pudding Cardstock, Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock, Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper(SAB 2014 product I earned with a $50 purchase), Perfectly Penned Stamp Set, Basic Black , White Embossing Powder, Versamark, my Stampin' Heat and Emboss Tool, and Dimensionals.

The girls made 12 cards... And donated them into my charity box.  The box I sell cards from and donate 100% of e proceed's to the Dublin/San Ramon Women's Club.

If you would like to come play with me I would love to see what stamp set you would pick.
I love to create, CASE, and inspire!
