Goodbye 2015:

Hello 2016:

Happy New Year!
Happy Birthday to my hubby!
We rang the New Year in with friends...
The neighbors kids played twister by my rules.. I made them talk like pirates and make animal sounds!

Our first cheers included Max and some strawberry milk!

That salad was a piece of art!! Sara worked hard on each of our salads!

Midnight selfie!!

My girls Sarah & I!
We reminisced about the past...
And made resolutions for our future.

I decided to try and make a cake from Pinterest...
Here is my version:

Happy Birthday Sandy

A few weeks back was my friend Sandy's Birthday party...
the same night I saw Star Wars!!
Sandy is s wonderful friend I met through my girlfriend Michelle,
a small group of us get together all year long to celebrate birthdays and spoil each other!
The birthday girl gets to choose where and when to celebrate.

Sandy picked hanging out at our friend Annette's House for dinner and a sewing party.
Sandy shared how to make Holiday Apron Towels.
This is Annette's sewn years before by Sandy!
Here we are seeing and cutting, ironing and pinning:
The pattern was simple...

Michelle matched the fabric to the towels...

Sandy had many towels to choose from!

Sandy did the hard work...

I scrunched...

we laid out the buttons and ribbons...

Happy Birthday Sandy!
Annette, baked Sandy a Christmas Cookie...
it was good!

Check out my finished product
My finished apron!

Me and Michelle wearing the hats Sandy bought us!

I found he most beautiful card to CASE designed by Trinity Design Studio.

Here is my CASE of her card:
I used a leftover piece of craft paper that came in my velum paper package for the base, my Groovy Love stamp set, my Project Life Day to Day stamp set, Real Red Ink, Red Glitter Paper, Gold Velum Paper, Retired Holiday 2014 Paper, my SU stapler, the sentiment (sneak peek) from The Balloon Celebration Stamp Set, Hello You Thinlets, my Precision Plate and my heart punch.

Christmas Eve with the Raiders

I know what you are thinking?
SEAHAWK FAN sharing an ornament from another team?
Well, Yes... we are attended the Christmas Eve game against the Chargers..
My oldest Mackenzie and I were freezing!

We live in the Bay Area,
The Raiders have provided my husband with OT for the past 15 years.
This year he had to work on Christmas Eve,
since we have missed many holidays with him,
we decided to go and sit in his view and enjoy the game!
Yes, our tickets crossed out the amount of OT he earns ...
but spending the day with him,
my in laws & doing something we have never done will be worth it!

My SIL, Hubby, & BIL

Captain Brady gave us an escort into the parking lot,
a long time friend, and the nicest guy you will ever meet.

The family all in front of the Bearcat...
you may recall me sharing the story a few years back
where my hubby drove this home from the manufacturer
and ate his way home through the Midwest!

Commander Wright took the time to pose with us too!
He is a Cancer survivor, awesome father, and amazing mentor to my hubby!

That's my hubby...

My kids and my hubby!

He even stopped to pose with me...
he looks so cold!

So it was our first Raider game EVER,
I was puked on in the first 3 minutes,
the game was off the hook,
the fans were loud
even though the
weather was FREEZING!

The Raider's won in OT:

I may not go back again without my husband,
he missed out working while we rocked out in the stands.
Hope the Raiders stay in Oakland so we can enjoy another game!

Use your silicone mat,
it keeps adhesive from sticking to your papermat, table or project,
(where you do not want it... leaves it where you do)
I love using mine with my glue gun.
Nothing sticks!

A Work of Art Thank You!
